Only 8 years old, Robin passed an archeology exam and was officially recognized as a scholar. However, when she said that she, like her mother, wanted to find the truth and decipher the world’s historical secrets, she was scolded by Clover. He threatened that if she would be banned from the rhetoric if she continued to spy on the research work of other scholars.
Robin went to the “Tree of Knowledge”, and asked Clover where her mother was. Olvia is wanted so she wants to cut off all connections with Robin so that she will not be involved in a mother crime.
In addition, the agents warned citizens on the island to leave immediately on the evacuation boat, otherwise all would be destroyed. Olvia encountered Spandine, the commander of CP9 at the time, and was quickly defeated.
When the ships arrived, Saul ran away to find Robin. When the attack explodes, Spandine learns that Robin is also capable of reading ancient texts. As the raid began, Soandine and CP9 tried to retreat, Robin and Olvia reunited, and not long after Saul arrived.
Later, Saul’s former vice admiral status was revealed, he helped Olvia escape. Olvia asks Saul to safely take her daughter off the island, and tells Robin that she must continue living, living for her mother’s part. Robin insisted that she stay with her mother, but Olvia refused to leave.
She still has work to do. Robin then left on the boat guided by Kuzan’s runway. Remembering Saul’s words, Robin tried to laugh, but her cheeks were wet with tears when Ohara was burned down. She seems to be the only one that has survived.
20 years on the run, Robin went to live with many people, and all of them tried to pay her off to the government or try to kill her. At first, she was adopted by an old peasant woman – whom she thought was a kindness – adopted. But, one night, before dinner, the old woman tells Robin that she has a guest.
These visitors turned out to be agents of the government to kill her. This is the first time Robin has been betrayed. Things like that kept recurring, Robin didn’t stop running, was constantly betrayed.
Over the years, Robin joined many different pirates, but all because of her that was attacked by the navy. They called it a betrayal, and cursed her.
In the final episode of Whiskey Peak arc Robin first appeared under the title Miss All Sunday, agent and vice president of Baroque Works.
Throughout the Baroque Works Saga, Robin did not care much about Baroque Works, and she frequently helped Luffy discreetly in defeating Crocodile. She saved Luffy and brought Pell to help him.
Robin then hid aboard the Going Merry, much to Mugiwara’s surprise. She told Luffy that since he saved her while she was dying, he had to let her join. Luffy agreed, while the other members vehemently protested (except for Sanji) until she was able to manipulate them.
After the Davy Back Fight arc, Robin encountered Aokiji, one of the three admirals. Aokiji frightened her by revealing a bit of her dark past, insisting that every organization she joined would be wiped out, leaving her as the last survivor.
Later in the Water 7 arc, Robin disappeared from the city, planning her betrayal as part of her agreement with CP9. They promise to leave the Straw Hats alive if she voluntarily surrenders herself to the government and helps them in restoring the legendary weapon, the ancient battleship Pluton. After discovering the truth, Luffy and the others traveled through the waves to Enies Lobby to save Robin.
Robin is free, proceeding to avenge Spandam with his powers. Although the Buster Call was called in to deal with the Mugiwara Pirates, they all managed to escape successfully, and Robin finally made it through his past.
